Sitting with Sebastian

I've just popped in from the studio after making a sunny arrangement for today's photo shoot. I'm sitting here in bed while Sebastian plays with his fun stuffed flower (might as well get him started young). It's wintry and gray and my hands are all "jacked up" with tendonitis of sorts. The cold doesn't help. Russ is outside fixing the tire on his pick up truck which is literally on a car jack and looks quite red neck outside our front door. We came to the conclusion that perhaps this is where the expression "jacked-up" came from... if the shoe fits?

2012 Popular Trends Revisited

****************************

As we approach the end of the year, it's fun to look back and see what our brides were consistently attracted to in terms of color and design. The truth is that here in Savannah, Charleston and the Low Country, southern vintage charm will always reign. Blushes, grays, spanish moss, mason jars, burlap, lace, sweet tea, cotton and peaches always make for a comforting, beautiful combination.

Hooray Annie + Dustin

********** It was a perfect day for a perfect wedding. Annie and Dustin celebrated their nuptials at the Tybee Wedding Chapel, on a sunny, early summer afternoon. The flowers embodied eclectic elegance while the decor design exhibited southern rustic charm. Bouquets of blush stock, roses, peonies, and dusty miller accompanied tablescapes of lace burlap runners, homey candles, and milk glass bud vases. The wedding cake was just as charming and beautiful as the decor. Everything flowed together, and it was such a pleasure to create the look and feel of Annie's big day. All of the floral design complemented her and her party in such a beautiful way. Thanks to Jade and Matthew for their absolutely gorgeous photos.
