Wedding in Savannah's Whitfield Square

*********************

This June, wedding season has descended upon Savannah with quite a bang. Weddings are simply everywhere. Despite the sultry weather, there seems to be more and more Savannah Square weddings. For many of us "natives", driving behind befuddled tourists in any of our twenty two squares proves to be quite the frustrating task. But if there's a wedding going on, no one seems to mind.

Whitfield Square, with it's romantic gazebo, is perhaps one of the most popular outdoor wedding sites in Savannah. I had the honor of creating arrangements for the bride and the groom. I'm eagerly awaiting the photos from Michael Edde, owner extraordinaire of Beacon Photo. In the meantime, I've added a few photos of Theresa and James' bouquets and boutonnieres.

{ flowers: gloriosa (growing wild in my victory garden), yellow billy balls, freedom roses, kangaroo paw, sweet william, dusty miller, free spirit roses, carnival carnations, black eyed susans, dusty miller and, of course the bride's personal favorite - sunflowers }
